Anna Richmond-Mueller
Energy Analyst
Growing up, Anna Richmond-Mueller could often be found trailing behind her grandfather and great aunt on the family farm in Charlotte County, Virginia, where they raised beef cattle and grew tobacco. Anna attended the College of William and Mary and studied anthropology and archaeology, with a focus on historical ecology in coastal Virginia. She moved to Butte, Montana, in 2022 and joined the Energy Team at NCAT that October. As an Energy Analyst, Anna manages a technical assistance program for USDA REAP grant applicants and assists with energy audits across Montana. She is also the technical assistance coordinator and peer-to-peer mentor program manager for the AgriSolar Clearinghouse – a U.S. Department of Energy-funded program that serves as a networking and information-sharing hub for all things agrisolar.
